Edgemont is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in North Vancouver. It offers large, beautiful homes in a serene suburban setting, just minutes from the lively Edgemont Village. This charming area is nestled near forested parks at the base of Grouse Mountain. Edgemont Village includes the Capilano and Capilano Highlands areas. Capilano Highlands is a delightful community with some of the most expensive real estate in North Vancouver. Capilano, located beside the Capilano River, separates North Vancouver from West Vancouver. Although small in size, the area's popularity is growing as demand for proximity to Edgemont Village increases.

If you're considering moving to Edgemont, we want to encourage you to look closer at Edgemont.

What's it Like Living in North Vancouver?

Is there anything bad or negative about North Vancouver?

Living in Edgemont offers a serene community vibe with top-notch amenities. The only downside is the high cost of living, which may not suit everyone. Despite this, the quality of life and beautiful surroundings make it a sought-after place to live.

North Van is a beautiful place for a family. I moved from out of province and always think about how lucky kids are to grow up here. Houses that are super close to Edgemont Village tend to be more expensive due to their proximity. But if I was purchasing, it would 100% be my desired area of North Van. You've got a 4Cats art studio, kid's cooking classes, lots of cafes, a couple of drugstores, restaurants and a grocery store amongst other shops. The elevation around Edgemont Village is quite flat. You get more elevation as you go up Highland Blvd. But, it's also a bus route so you could easily walk/bike down with no issue for kids (other than being mindful of traffic) then take the bus back up if you're concerned about hills. You'd also be close to trails for biking and Grouse Mountain if they'd be interested in skiing/boarding.
